The 1966 Voyager Ship
In 1966 a replica of a Hess tanker ship, "The Hess Voyager" was issued. Made in the U.S.A. by the Marx Toy Co. it measures 18 inches long. Features working lights. White bow and stern lights and green and red starboard and port lights. The ship is equipped with roller wheels. "Hess Voyager" decals on the sides and stern and Hess logos on both sides of the smoke stack.
Features include three masts, flag, anchors and a propeller. Very colorful box with silk-screen pictures
of home delivery scenes and Hess facilities. A stand was available but did not come with the ship.
Extremely difficult to find, the only ship ever made.

This Hess Voyager ship looks like it has been kept in it's box
it's entire life. It looks brand new. The white parts
are white as snow. There are no marks or defects on this ship.
There is no discoloring. The lights all work perfectly.
There is NO tarnish or discoloration on any of the chrome
No parts are missing, masts, anchors, prop, flag, decals, etc.
There are some chips out of 2 of the decals. See photos.
Other then that this ship is perfect. The radar screen is almost too perfect so it is possible that it is a replacement. However, the white parts of the ship are impossible to replace and they are beautifully white with no discoloration or glue marks.
Beautiful box with 2 of the cardboard inserts.
No creases, tears or damage. A few small extremely minor stains.
Brand new looking battery card.
